Sometimes I have conversations about the state of the industry and everyone in it being bummed out.
Anytime I talk to someone within the ad industry, the conversation ultimately ends up talking about mutual disillusionment with the world of advertising overall.
In fact, everyone I talk to pretty consistently says everyone they talk to is disillusioned as well.
I had one of these conversations recently. Shout out to [redacted because you said “at my company and that felt not ideal to connect your name to. But thank you for the out of the blue check in and exchange.]
the difference being that this conversation ended in me furiously writing half thought after half thought in notes.
