TRUE OR FALSE?
Good creative requires good strat.
Good strat promises good creative.
Strategy needs to inspire
Strategy’s job is to be “right”
Strategy must come from a strategist

No context note:

It’s been a incredibly overwhelming and confusing week.
Which is why I enjoyed coming across this oldie today randomly
(and also this which was less comforting but equally important to remember)
///
Confrontation should not = conflict.
(but too often it does)

this site is cool

Parenting / work overlap:
When a toddler wont do something, asking again in a more firm voice doesn’t work.
Nor does making demands.
Nor does making it feel like there is no other choice.
The best way to convince (manipulate) children is to give them choice.
also, when faced with a stubborn child, switch your approach. Make the second time asking feel like a whole new thing.
I don’t think I need to explain the overlap…

Something to consider
when staffing a team:
/////
I really wish supplemental revenue streams were more common in business.
USPS should absolutely sell rain gear.
Energizer should make an energy drink.
Ford could sell tents.
Cheesecake factory = cookbooks
trader joes apparel would probably be weirdly popular if done right.
Hell, police depts. could offer the opportunity to see if you could get away from the cops to rich people seeking a thrill (doubles as training)
the “novelty” product actually serves as a brand benefit reinforcement.
If you see a Ford tent you’re be reminded/primed to think of ford for off-roading.
(admittedly this doesn’t exactly work for some of the above, but it still acts as a piece of comms/media that exists after the paid media ends)
Views through objects rather than platforms.

the end. there was more but published anything is better than unpublished perfection.
